 UR-Linked website will undergo scheduled updates as part of our regular maintenance and improvement process. The site will be down during this process, with an expected outage of approximately 3 hours.

 The database for the Business Travel Pre-Approval Request registration site is being migrated to a new server. The site will be down during this process, with an expected outage of approximately 1.5 hours.

Current and Upcoming Change Management

>>Windows 11 Upgrade to Windows 11 24H2 (05/19/2025 08:00:00)
 All Windows 11 workstations running a feature release older than 24H2 will be upgraded to Windows 11 24H2 through SCCM Software Center deadline deployment. This deployment will start May 19th with a notification for users to install the upgrade immediately, schedule the upgrade to run outside business hours, or delay the upgrade until the deadline on August 4th. After the deadline, the upgrade will run automatically on weekends. Automated upgrades will be suspended August 22nd before Fall semester classes begin. Instructions on what options are available to run the upgrade will be present in the Software Center and can also be found here: https://isssweb.umkc.edu/WindowsUpgrade/softwarecenter.asp

 

>>Windows 10 Upgrade to Windows 11 24H2 (05/19/2025 08:00:00)
 All Windows 11 compatible workstations still running Windows 10 will be upgraded to Windows 11 24H2 through SCCM Software Center deadline deployment. >>Campus firewall upgrades (05/24/2025 22:00:00)
 Firmware upgrades will be performed on the main campus firewall and VPN firewall. There will be two 1-minute outages as the main campus firewall pair is updated.

 

>>PaperCut Application Upgrade (06/19/2025 08:30:00)
 The PaperCut application servers will be upgraded to version 24.1.7. New features include scan reporting and archiving, Print Deploy enhancements, and user web interface updates. It also included numerous bug fixes, performance improvements, and security updates.
